What we collect

When you join the Baxie waitlist, we collect:

  • Email address
  • Company name
  • Role (selected from a dropdown)
  • California county
  • IP address
  • Browser user-agent string
  • Timestamp of the form submission

We do not collect sensitive personal information through the waitlist (no Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, government ID numbers, financial accounts, precise geolocation, race, religion, union membership, health, biometrics, or contents of messages).

Why we collect it

We use this information for one purpose: to email you about Baxie's launch, beta availability, and major product updates. We also use it to send your signup confirmation, prevent abuse of the form, and meet legal obligations.

How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist record until you ask us to delete it, you unsubscribe, or up to 24 months after the Baxie waitlist closes, whichever comes first. Server logs containing IP and user-agent are kept up to 90 days. [Edwin: retention periods are assumptions, confirm before launch]

We do not sell or share your personal information

Baxie does not sell your personal information and does not share it with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not done so in the past 12 months and have no plans to start.

Your California rights

You can:

  • Know what we have collected about you.
  • Delete it.
  • Correct it.
  • Opt out of sale or sharing of your personal information (we don't sell or share, but the right is yours).
  • Limit our use of sensitive personal information (we don't collect it through the waitlist, but the right is yours).
  • Opt out of automated decision-making technology used to make significant decisions about you (we don't use it for the waitlist).
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@baxiehq.com or use the form at baxiehq.com/privacy/delete. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days, with one possible 45-day extension.
